About Susan

I am Susan Fritz, RN. Let me tell you a little of who I am, starting with my background.
I grew up in the Midwest with an abundance of love, in a wonderful family with strong Christian values. My earliest memory is watching lightening highlight my aunt lovingly holding my baby brother on a stormy rainy summer evening. I was 20 months old. My father had died in his sleep earlier that summer. To this day the memory of that evening is warm and wonderful. A summer party playing with my older brother as we put rocks behind car tires so family friends couldn’t leave the party. At this early age I learned that “Love heals all pain, even the death of a loved one.”

I credit Marv Treiger of Body Mind Institute, for making Meditation come alive and understandable for me. He continues today to guide me in the intricate studies of advanced Buddhist meditation.

As I grew, I was surrounded by western medicine, in fact I worked in a hospital throughout my teen years, then got my feet wet with a college degree in Psychology from Miami University. By the age of 14, I knew I was destined for a larger horizon, a broader experience of life, so in early adulthood, I moved to the West Coast. As an adult I have been privileged to study with world renowned teachers in Eastern and Western medical and spiritual traditions. I studied Herbs of the Amazon, Essential Oils, Music, Martial Arts, and of course Yoga and Meditation. In time I returned to study more Western Medicine specifically psychiatric nursing. The combination of my studies and life experiences has led me to believe in the complimentary body-mind-energy approach to health and well-being. The synergistic value of healing when both Eastern and Western Medicine collaborate is undeniably more beneficial, more powerful than either used separately.

It is my desire to share with others the healing benefits, the deep calming stillness, and the radiant joy in living, that has arisen from my journey into the world of interpersonal body-mind health and spirituality. My life is clearly richer living as I do, and while I am truly content with who I am, I still thrive and enjoy new horizons, new adventures, because that’s how we grow and stay young.

Teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness, providing Reiki sessions and utilizing essential oil therapy allows me to give back to my community in a way that is both holistic and complimentary to traditional western medicine. I value the trust my clients have placed in me as I have guided them in their own personal journeys. It has been deeply rewarding for me to assist my clients as they make significant progress in living healthier and happier lives.

I was truly fortunate to begin my yogic journey with one of the preeminent Yogi’s in the world. Meeting Yogi Amrit Desai in my early 20’s changed my world forever. I have followed his spiritual guidance for over 40 years including traveling to India with him to study.

There is tremendous value in 1-1 teaching. Small class settings are great but there is a need to reach more people, to help fill the need we as a society have, for a better healthier approach in dealing with Stress. Stress being one of the leading causes of physical disease in the body as well as an enormous mental drain of our vital life energy. Stress is also a powerful underlying emotional component that fuels depression and drug addiction in our world today. For these reasons I have chosen to expand into the world of corporate training to reach more people with basic mindfulness and meditation skills that can be self-utilized for better health and well-being as well as personal satisfaction, fulfillment and happiness at home and in their working environment.

Life, including our lives at work, is meant to be lived responsibly yet fully and joyfully. This is an attitude I take with me when I work. Mindfulness, Yoga and Meditation are my tools. My personal journey at this time in life takes me into the corporate world to reach more people. It’s my way of being part of the solution, of making our world a better, healthier more enjoyable place to live. If I can help you, thru personal Life coaching, Reiki or Yoga Nidra classes, or corporate training in the office or at big time conventions let me know. I am always open to finding new ways to implement my skills for the purpose of helping others.

I believe we each are gifted with skills needed to a make our world a better place. 1 person 1 step 1 relationship can make a difference. Yet, if you have big dreams, big goals and you believe your vision can help transform our world then you are in a unique position to take your company, your staff along for the ride of transforming our world into a healthier happier place for all of us to live.

Each moment is an opportunity. Now is our time. Let’s talk. Let’s take action together.
